15TH HUSSARS cap badge?

Is this badge the same in victorian times as was issued in the first world war

In 1815 the 15th or Kings own light dragoons(hussars) had no cap badge at all but had on their Sabretache an embroidered emblem of GR and the regimental number but no cap badge (they wore the busby then) their uniforms were blue with scarlet facings silver lace work and white breeches when on duty and grey overall breeches on campaign,the cap badge came in many many years later for this regiment,The 1st WW badge was designed for the regiment during the army overhaul in 1912 where almost all uniforms were redesigned into a khaki style from the old red coat design,by then the regiments uniform had undergone many changes including the cap badge,
So in answer to your question ,No,the badge has been evolving since the regiment was formed,
They were almalgamated with the 9th regiment light dragoons in 1922 (i beleive) during the next major overhaul of regiments
